Product Description

This Victron Energy adapter cord lets a 16A CEE plug connect into a 32A CEE shore power socket. It suits marine, motorhome and off-grid setups where the shore power outlet does not match the vessel or vehicle's inlet rating.

Key features

  • Connector format, CEE 16A plug on one end, CEE 32A coupling on the other.
  • Voltage rating, 250V, for standard single-phase European shore power supplies.
  • Weight, 0.3 kg, easy to store aboard a vessel or in a vehicle.
  • Build, CEE industrial connector format on both ends for a secure connection.

How it works

The plug and coupling bridge a mismatch between the supply cord and the socket, but current draw stays limited to 16A by the plug rating. This adapter does not raise the available current capacity of the circuit, it only allows the physical connection.

Applications

Useful for boats with a 16A shore power inlet needing to plug into a 32A marina pedestal, for motorhomes and campervans with a 16A shore cord at a 32A campsite supply, and for off-grid cabins or temporary sites where the only socket available is 32A CEE. Hire fleets and service engineers also carry these to cover mismatched shore power connections on site.

What's in the box

  • 1 x Adapter Cord with 16A CEE plug and 32A CEE coupling

Installation notes

Switch off the shore power supply before connecting or disconnecting. For fixed shore power installations on vessels, connection should be carried out by a qualified marine electrician following applicable wiring standards.
