This Betteri AC connector pair gives you a waterproof male and female 3-pin 240VAC coupling for the AC output side of VMI solar microinverters. Built for outdoor use with double-insulated 4mm power cable, the pair lets you join microinverter AC outputs together in a daisy-chain AC bus configuration.

Product overview

On a multi-microinverter array, each unit's AC output joins a shared AC bus before it heads to the consumer unit. These Betteri connectors form the coupling point between adjacent microinverters in the string. The last unit in the chain connects to the AC bus extension cable, or straight to a 230VAC socket via the compatible 5m extension cable, sold separately.

The waterproof housing is intended to hold up in outdoor conditions: rain, temperature swings, rooftop and wall-mounted positions.

Installation and safety notes

These connectors carry mains AC voltage. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician and comply with IET Wiring Regulations. Never connect or disconnect under load. The cable used must be rated for the current of every microinverter joined on that AC bus chain.
