The Conversol M-5K-24 combines a 5kW inverter with an 80A MPPT solar charger in a single unit built around a 24V battery bank. It accepts either 120VAC or 230VAC input, so it suits grid, generator or off-grid setups across different regions.
The M-5K-24 suits 24V off-grid systems where a lower battery voltage keeps wiring and equipment costs down. The wide AC input range covers both 230V and 120V connections, and voltage selection can be set for computer loads or general household appliances.
Solar charging tops out at 80A from the PV array, and AC charging adds a further 60A, giving a combined charge current of 140A. That combination suits larger 24V battery banks that need to recharge quickly.
Fits 24V off-grid residential systems, cabins and remote properties, agricultural sites, boats, and backup power setups built around a 24V battery bank.
Fitting should be carried out by a qualified electrician or solar installer. Cable sizing and fusing need to match the 24V high-current operation, and the battery bank must be matched to the inverter's charge settings. Do not exceed the 145VDC PV open circuit voltage limit, and follow all relevant electrical safety regulations.
