The Conversol VM 3.6kW is an off-grid inverter and MPPT charger built around a 24V battery bank. It delivers 3600W of continuous output with a 7200VA surge rating, and pairs a 120A MPPT solar charger with support for up to 4000W of PV input, making it a compact option for residential and small commercial off-grid solar systems.

Product overview
The VM range sits among Conversol's more capable compact off-grid units, joining a high-current MPPT solar charger with a 3.6kW pure sine wave inverter in a wall-mount enclosure. The 120A MPPT charging current helps recharge larger battery banks quickly, and the 120V to 450VDC MPPT window gives installers room to configure the PV array to suit the site.
An AC charger adds a further 100A, taking the combined maximum charging current to 120A. That combination suits installations where rapid battery recovery matters. The LED display shows operational status without a separate monitoring device.

Installation notes
Fitting should be carried out by a qualified electrician or accredited solar installer. The maximum PV open circuit voltage of 500VDC must not be exceeded, and battery cabling, fusing and DC isolators need to be correctly sized for 24V high-current operation. Confirm battery type and capacity against the charge settings before commissioning, and follow all applicable electrical regulations.
