Product Description

Helukabel Solarflex 10mm² solar PV cable in black, supplied in 10 metre lengths. Double insulated and certified to TUV and IEC standards, this cable is manufactured in Germany for high-current, long-distance string wiring in large-scale photovoltaic installations.

Applications

Suited to long distance DC cable runs in commercial and utility scale PV installations, and to high current string wiring where a smaller 4mm² or 6mm² cable would cause excessive voltage drop. Common on ground-mounted and large rooftop PV arrays.

Installation and safety notes

Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. The cable must be rated correctly for the system's maximum voltage, short-circuit current and ambient temperature. Support and protect it against mechanical damage and UV exposure on outdoor runs.
