Product Description

This Wi-Fi box adds remote monitoring to InfiniSolar and Voltasol hybrid inverters, linking the inverter to an online data centre over a wireless network. Once connected, installers and owners can check performance and fault status from a mobile app or web browser rather than standing at the unit itself.

Key features

  • Compatibility, works with InfiniSolar and Voltasol hybrid inverters
  • Network modes, supports AP (Access Point) mode for direct wireless access and STA (Station) mode for LAN integration
  • Connection, requires an Ethernet connection to an internet router
  • Remote access, online data centre viewable via mobile app or web browser
  • Data logging, stores inverter data and events on the data server
  • Setup, communication parameters are configurable

Applications

Suited to remote monitoring of hybrid inverters in off-grid and grid-tied solar setups. Installers can check on system health without a site visit, and owners can keep an eye on their own inverter's output and any fault conditions from home.

Installation notes

The box connects to the inverter's communication port and to the local network by Ethernet cable. Network settings are configured through the app or web interface. A stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection or a wired Ethernet link is needed for it to work.
