Product overview
13.2V is the correct float voltage for maintaining or charging a 12V lead-acid battery bank, or for powering 12V loads directly from a 24V system. At 60A, the unit delivers up to 792W, avoiding the losses of resistive voltage dropping.
Because the topology is non-isolated, the 24V input and 12V output share a common negative reference. That works for most vehicle and off-grid wiring where both circuits share the same chassis or battery negative. Where galvanic isolation is needed, such as certain marine installs or where ground loops are a concern, the isolated Orion-Tr range is the correct choice instead.
IP20 protects against solid objects over 12mm but gives no water protection, so the unit needs a dry, enclosed location such as a battery compartment or electrical cabinet, with ventilation to manage heat under sustained load.

For marine use, confirm a shared ground reference suits the vessel's wiring before choosing this over an isolated model.
