Product Description

The Victron MEGA-fuse 150A/80V is a blade-style DC fuse for battery systems, inverters and solar installations. It's sold as a pack of five, giving installers spare protection points without needing to reorder for routine maintenance.

Applications

Fits overcurrent protection duties on inverter DC input cables in 12V, 24V and 48V battery systems, battery bank protection in off-grid solar installs, and DC distribution boards or busbars in marine and motorhome electrical systems. It also covers high-current DC wiring in commercial vehicle conversions and works as a replacement in existing MEGA fuseholder setups.

Installation notes

Fit the fuse into a MEGA fuseholder rated for the same current and voltage, with cabling sized for 150A continuous use. DC fuses are not interchangeable with AC fuses of the same rating. Always isolate the battery before replacing or installing a fuse. Installation work should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
