Solis 6kW Dual MPPT Single Phase Grid-Tie Inverter | S6-GR1P6K-DC

The Solis S6-GR1P6K-DC is a 6kW single phase grid-tied inverter built for residential solar PV systems. Dual MPPT gives it two independent string inputs, each rated for up to 14A, so it suits high-output and bifacial modules without derating. An integrated DC switch, export power manager and AFCI arc fault protection come as standard, and the enclosure carries an IP66 rating.

Built-in protection and control

An Export Power Manager (EPM) is integrated for sites with export limitation requirements, alongside AFCI arc fault detection and an on-board DC switch. These come fitted as standard rather than as separate accessories.

Applications

Suited to residential rooftop solar PV installs, grid-tied systems that need export limiting, and arrays using high-output or bifacial panels. The unit weighs 12kg and measures 310 x 543 x 160mm.

Installation notes

UK grid connection requires G98 compliance, and installation should be carried out by an MCS-accredited installer. String voltage needs calculating for cold conditions and confirming against the 600V maximum input. A compatible Wi-Fi datalogger is sold separately for SolisCloud remote monitoring.
