Product Description

The BENY BHSZ-16/1 is an AFCI solar PV combiner box built for 16 string inputs at up to 1500VDC. It keeps watch on current, voltage and enclosure temperature, and trips DC contactors to isolate a string the moment an arc fault is detected. Contactors can also be operated remotely for maintenance work.

Applications

Suited to commercial and large residential PV systems where arc fault protection is needed, including installations where AFCI is required under fire safety or electrical regulations.

Installation notes

Fit by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited solar installer only. DC solar circuits carry dangerous voltages, and all wiring must comply with IET Wiring Regulations.
