This solar panel tester measures the maximum power point (MPPT) and open circuit voltage of solar panels up to 800W. It draws its power directly from the panel under test, so no external power supply is needed, making it a practical tool for on-site commissioning checks and panel performance verification.

How it works

In auto MPPT mode the refresh interval changes with the panel's current output: every 5 seconds at 100W, every 15 seconds at 350W, and every 30 seconds at 700W. This keeps readings relevant without needing manual adjustment as conditions change. In manual mode, a single button press triggers one scan and the last result is held on screen for recording.

Installation and safety notes
