Applications

Use this solar panel cable to extend or bridge string connections in residential PV arrays, to wire panels into combiner boxes or DC isolators, or to connect panels to Victron SmartSolar or BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers. It also suits repair or replacement of a damaged inter-panel lead on an existing array.

Installation notes

Fit only in DC PV circuits and check the cable rating against the open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current of the array before use. MC4 connectors should be mated or separated only with the correct disconnect tool, never by hand while live. Installation should follow BS 7671 and any local wiring regulations, carried out by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited installer.
