The Voltacon 22kW Off-Grid Solar Control Cabinet is a complete single phase energy system built around dual parallel Conversol MAX inverter-chargers. It is wired and tested in the UK before dispatch, so on-site commissioning is quicker and installation errors are reduced for domestic and commercial off-grid or backup power projects.

Product overview

All the critical off-grid components sit in one professionally assembled enclosure. The dual parallel Conversol MAX configuration gives 22kW of single phase output with the redundancy that larger installations need. DC distribution runs through the 1000A copper busbar and 70mm² battery cabling for low-resistance, high-current connections.

The Victron battery monitor reports state of charge and battery health through the app. Bluetooth and app access let installers and homeowners check battery temperature and system status remotely, which helps avoid battery stress over time.

Installation notes

This cabinet must be installed by a qualified electrician experienced with off-grid and battery storage systems. Battery connections, DC fusing, AC supply, earthing and ventilation must follow IET Wiring Regulations and the manufacturer's installation guidelines. DIY installation of high-current DC or inverter systems is not recommended.
