Product Description

The GAVE Electro PST-240 is a single phase 230V surge protection device built to Class II (Type 2) with a 20kA discharge rating. It forms part of the GAVE (CITEL) modular range, using plug-in cartridges that make replacement straightforward after a fault. Thermal disconnection and a visual failure indicator are built in, with an optional remote signalling module for monitored installations. It mounts to a standard DIN rail inside a consumer unit or inverter enclosure.

Key features of this single phase surge protector

  • Voltage, single phase 230V AC
  • Protection class, Class II (Type 2) SPD
  • Discharge rating, In: 20kA
  • Cartridges, plug-in modular design for easy replacement
  • Fault indication, thermal disconnection with visual failure indicator
  • Signalling, remote signalling option available

Applications

Fits at the AC output side of a single phase solar inverter, or across a consumer unit or distribution board, to protect the installation from lightning and grid-borne surges. It is intended for single phase electrical installations rather than DC strings.
