A range of gPV cylindrical DC fuses in the 10x38mm format, rated to 1000VDC for solar PV string protection. They are built to interrupt low overcurrents caused by reverse currents and multi-array faults in photovoltaic systems. Ratings run from 2A to 20A, sold as a single fuse per unit.
Used for solar PV string overcurrent protection inside combiner boxes, and as a like-for-like replacement fuse in residential and commercial PV arrays.
Choose the fuse rating based on 1.5 times the short-circuit current of the connected PV string. Replace DC solar fuses only with the correct rating and type for the circuit. Never fit an AC fuse into a DC PV circuit.
