Pylontech Fidus Pro 20kWh LiFePO4 Battery Stack IP65

The Pylontech Fidus Pro is a 20kWh low voltage LiFePO4 battery stack built from 4 x 5.12kWh modules, each rated at 51.2V. It carries an IP65 enclosure, C5-M anti-corrosion protection and a built-in self-heating function, making it a practical choice for garages, utility rooms, outbuildings and other spaces where a standard indoor-only battery would struggle.

Product overview

Compared with the standard indoor rack battery format, the Fidus Pro is designed for sites where moisture, dust, cold temperatures or corrosive air are a factor. The self-heating function manages heating automatically once low temperature conditions are detected, and manufacturer data states the battery can heat from -20°C to at least 5°C in around 2 hours, depending on available system power and site conditions.

The BMS includes cell balancing and active safety management. According to manufacturer data the battery is rated for 8000 cycles at 25°C / 0.5C. The system can be expanded to up to 20 batteries in one string, with up to 6 strings supported where the wider system design and communication hub allow it.

Applications

Suited to residential solar battery storage, hybrid inverter systems, off-grid solar PV installations and backup power setups, including larger expandable energy storage projects that call for a stack of several modules working together.
