Product overview

A high-frequency transformer provides true galvanic isolation between input and output circuits, which matters in marine and vehicle wiring where battery banks share a common chassis ground. Without isolation, charge current can find unintended paths and cause corrosion or interference. This design removes that risk.

All setup runs through VictronConnect over Bluetooth: charge algorithm, absorption voltage, float voltage and current limit are all set from a phone or tablet. Engine detection stops the auxiliary bank from draining the starter battery by checking the alternator is actually running before the output switches on.

At 240W continuous, this unit tops up a secondary 24V bank during transit rather than bulk charging from flat. Larger Orion-Tr Smart models are available where higher charge rates are needed. The enclosure is compact and can be wall or DIN-rail mounted, suiting tight vehicle cabinets or marine panels.
