How it works

This is a boost converter, not a charger. It raises 12V to 24V to run 24V equipment directly rather than topping up a battery. Because the design is non-isolated, the negative terminals of input and output are connected internally, which is fine for most single-battery vehicle or panel setups but worth checking against your system's earthing arrangement.

At 10A output the unit can supply up to 240W on the 24V side. Drawing that from the 12V input means proportionally higher current on that side, so input cabling and fusing need to be sized with that in mind. IP20 protects against solid objects but not moisture, so it needs a dry mounting position away from spray or condensation.
