A complete 24kWh flooded OPzS lead acid battery bank built from 24x 2V 520Ah Hoppecke tubular plate cells wired in series to form a 48v lead acid battery system. OPzS technology is built for deep discharge photovoltaic cycling and carries a 25-year design life. The bank arrives filled with acid and ready for commissioning.

Installation and safety notes

Flooded lead acid batteries release hydrogen gas while charging, so the battery room needs ventilation. Installation and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Electrolyte levels should be checked regularly, following Hoppecke's guidance.
