Hoppecke OPzS Vented Tubular Solar Battery 6V or 12V

The Hoppecke OPzS is a vented tubular plate lead acid battery filled with liquid electrolyte (diluted sulphuric acid), built for deep discharge cycling in off-grid solar PV systems. It's available in 6V and 12V configurations, giving installers flexibility when sizing a battery bank.

Applications

Installation and safety notes

These are vented lead acid cells, so they produce hydrogen gas while charging and need adequate ventilation around the battery bank. Electrolyte levels should be checked and topped up periodically. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
