Product Description

The Mersen MULTIBLOC series 2.ST8 is a 400A NH fuse switch disconnector built for bottom-fit and panel mounting. It handles battery protection and high current DC disconnection in solar energy storage systems and industrial distribution panels, and is available in triple pole and quadruple pole configurations. It complies with IEC/EN 60947-3, with NH fuse-links to IEC/EN 60269-2 and VDE 0636-2.

Standards

IEC/EN 60947-3. NH fuse-links to IEC/EN 60269-2 and VDE 0636-2. On-load connection and disconnection is rated safe per IEC 60947-3.

Applications

Used for battery bank disconnection and fuse protection, industrial panel boards, feeder pillars, meter distribution cabinets, measuring transformer cabinets and telecommunications transmitting station power distribution. It mounts on a 100mm busbar system with an adapter, and an optional indicating switch shows switch door position.

Installation notes

Fit by a qualified electrician only. Choose the triple or quadruple pole version to suit the system, and select NH fuse-links rated correctly for the connected load. Install to IEC/EN 60947-3 and local wiring regulations.
