The Lynx Smart BMS 500 sits at the centre of a Victron lithium battery system, handling both protection and communication. Rather than simply disconnecting on fault, it can instruct a MultiPlus, Quattro or MPPT charge controller to reduce or stop output before a hard disconnect occurs, protecting the battery and the connected equipment.

The M10 designation refers to the busbar connection bolt size, confirming compatibility with the Lynx busbar system. Installation notes
