Product Description

The Ledison Opal is a 10W LED single spot downlight designed as a direct AR111 replacement. It runs on a dimmable AC triac ACTEC driver, giving smooth control from standard dimmer switches without flicker.

Installation and build

The Opal can be fitted with a frame or completely rimless, recessed directly into the ceiling. Each LED module sits in a solid aluminium heatsink and tilts to the angle needed for the room. The spotlight and its power supply are interchangeable, so a faulty unit can be swapped without rewiring the fitting.

Where it works well

The low UGR figure and high CRI make this suited to retail displays, offices and homes where glare and colour accuracy both matter. As an AR111 replacement, it drops into existing AR111 fittings without a redesign of the ceiling opening.
