This LED 2D lamp is a direct retrofit for existing GR8 and GR10q 4-pin fluorescent 2D fittings, replacing 28W and 36W CFL tubes without changing the luminaire. Built around SMD2835 LED chips, it runs from 220-240VAC or 110VAC mains and starts instantly with no flicker.

Retrofit installation

The tray fits directly into the existing 4-pin lamp holder, so there's no need to rewire the fitting or replace the luminaire body. Fluorescent tubes and starters are removed, and the LED tray takes their place. A perforated PCB spreads heat across the tray to help keep output stable over long running hours.

Operation and applications

This lamp is designed for standard on/off switching rather than dimming circuits. It suits corridors, stairwells, offices, schools, hospitals, residential communal areas and other spaces where 2D fluorescent fittings are already installed.
