Product Description

Factory-packed pallet of 36 JA Solar JAM72D40-600/MB bifacial N-type double glass solar panels, giving a total pallet capacity of 21.6kW. Each panel is rated at 600W with 22.7% module efficiency, built from N-type monocrystalline half-cut MBB cells between two sheets of tempered glass. The 26% figure sometimes seen in marketing material refers to individual cell efficiency, not the module efficiency, which is 22.7% for this panel.

Half-cut cell and dual glass construction

The half-cut MBB cell layout lowers internal resistance and improves shade tolerance against full-cell modules, so if one half of the panel is partially shaded the other half keeps generating at full output. The dual glass build suits high-humidity or coastal sites, and agricultural buildings where chemical exposure can degrade plastic-backsheet panels over time.

Suited to commercial and industrial rooftops, ground-mounted arrays and solar farms, agricultural buildings, flat roof systems with reflective membranes, and trade or installer purchases for larger projects.

Installation notes

At 32.5kg and 2333mm in length, each panel needs two installers for safe handling. String voltage should be calculated for cold conditions, with a maximum system voltage of 1500V DC. Supplied on pallet delivery only, and installation must be carried out by a qualified MCS-accredited solar installer.
