Flat Roof Solar Panel Mounting Kit U-Shape Mini Rail | Voltacon

This U-shape mini rail mounting kit is a low-profile aluminium system for fixing solar panels to metal, membrane and flat roofs. It comes in black aluminium and includes everything needed for the fix: rails, middle clamps, end clamps, EPDM insulation pads and self-tapping screws. Kits are supplied ready to install for 1, 2, 3 or 4 panels, with larger arrays built by combining kits together.

Applications

Suited to metal trapezoidal and corrugated roofs, membrane and felt flat roofs, and small residential or commercial rooftop arrays where a low roof projection is wanted. The short rail length keeps the whole assembly close to the roof surface.

Installation

Fitting should be carried out by a qualified solar installer, since fixing points, spacing and load distribution need to be worked out against the roof structure, panel weight and local wind and snow load requirements. Follow the manufacturer's guide for torque values and screw spacing.
