Product Description

The Pylontech Force FH3X pairs a 3.6kW hybrid inverter with a stackable LiFePO4 battery module in one integrated unit. Storage starts at 5.12kWh and can be expanded to 15kWh by adding further modules underneath the inverter, which sits directly on top of the battery to keep the footprint compact. The system is certified to G98/G99 for UK grid connection and can be installed indoors or outdoors.

Key features of this hybrid solar inverter with battery

  • Inverter output, 3.6kW hybrid inverter with grid-parallel and off-grid operation
  • Battery capacity, LiFePO4 module, expandable from 5.12kWh to 15kWh
  • Footprint, inverter mounts on top of the battery module in a single stack
  • Installation, suitable for indoor and outdoor siting
  • Energy management, Pylontech Dynamic Control EMS with a free mobile app for remote monitoring
  • Compliance, certified to G98/G99 (UK) and EU standards

How it works

During normal operation the FH3X runs in parallel with the grid, drawing on solar and stored battery power to cover household demand and cut grid import. If the grid goes down it switches automatically to off-grid mode to keep connected loads running. The Dynamic Control EMS handles charging and discharging in real time to make the most of self-consumption.

Because the battery and inverter form one stack, cabling stays short and the install stays tidy. A second battery module takes storage to 10.24kWh, and a third to 15kWh, with no change needed to the inverter or wiring.

Applications

  • Residential solar energy storage
  • Grid-connected self-consumption with backup power
  • Properties where installation space is limited
  • Starter systems with a planned future battery expansion

Installation notes

Grid connection must meet G98 or G99 requirements (UK) depending on system size. The battery stack needs a level, solid floor, and all electrical work should be carried out by a qualified installer following the Pylontech Force FH3X installation guide.
