This 5m roll of dual colour LED strip runs at 18W per metre on a 24V system, switching between 3000K warm white and 6000K cool white. It uses SMD5050 chips fabricated by Epistar and Samsung, with 240 chips stated per metre across a 300 LED array, giving a strip that can be dimmed and colour mixed with a wireless controller sold separately.

Applications

Fit it to coving, joinery or display shelving where a single fitting needs to shift from a warm ambience to a cooler working light. A single 10 metre run can be powered from one controller and power supply, and longer runs can be built by adding further power supplies in series.

Controller and power supply

The wireless controller has WIFI built in and lets you change colour temperature and dim each channel from a remote control, creating a real mood light rather than a single fixed white. The controller and power supply are sold on separate listings.

Installation notes

The adhesive backing needs a clean, smooth surface to bond properly, so prepare the mounting surface before fitting.
