Product Description

The PV-Guard-1000 is a Type 2 DC surge protection device for solar panel and inverter circuits, rated to 1000VDC with an Imax of 40kA. It is built around a high energy varistor and complies with IEC/EN 61643-31, making it suitable for combiner boxes and other PV enclosures.

Applications

Installation notes

Wire the device in parallel with the DC PV string conductors. Installation should only be carried out by a qualified electrician, as with any surge protection device solar panel wiring.
