8x GEL Battery 6V 200Ah Off-Grid Solar Storage | Voltacon HXG6-200

A set of 8 Voltacon HXG6-200 GEL deep cycle batteries, each rated 6V 200Ah. The bank can be wired as 12V, 24V or 48V, and at 48V it stores 9.6kWh measured at the C10 rating. The cells use Nano Gel electrolyte with a high-density paste, giving high recharge efficiency at low charge currents and less acid stratification than standard flooded lead-acid. Sealed and maintenance-free, with a 12-year design life. A free mounting rack with two shelves comes with the set.

Applications

Built for off-grid solar and hybrid PV systems, and for wind or hydro storage where a battery bank sits alongside a generation source. The same bank works as backup power for a home or workshop, or as a leisure battery for boats and campervans.

Installation notes

These are GEL cells and need a GEL-specific charge profile. Do not use AGM or flooded lead-acid charge settings. Fit them somewhere ventilated and temperature-controlled where possible, and avoid extended exposure above 40°C. Wiring should be carried out by a qualified installer, following the series/parallel guide supplied with the rack.
