Applications

Use this cable to extend a panel lead to reach a combiner box or charge controller input, to make panel-to-panel connections in a string or parallel array, or as a short inter-row link between adjacent panels. It suits off-grid systems built around Victron MPPT charge controllers as well as third-party equipment fitted with MC4 inputs. For longer distances, several assemblies can be chained together, or a custom-length cable used instead.

Installation notes

Solar PV wiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited installer. Check that the cable and connectors suit the current and voltage of your system before fitting. MC4 connectors should only be mated or separated using the correct MC4 disconnect tool, never by hand while live. UK grid-connected systems must meet the relevant wiring regulations and any applicable G98 or G99 connection agreement.
