Product overview

The seven-step process monitors battery voltage throughout charging and adapts output to suit condition and chemistry. For lead-acid batteries this can recover capacity from partially sulphated cells. A dedicated LiFePO4 profile manages charge termination correctly, and the correct profile is selected within VictronConnect.

The IP65 rating matters in practice: garages, boat bilges, vans and outbuildings expose chargers to condensation, dust and splashing that a standard IP20 unit cannot handle. Bluetooth lets a technician check charge status, review history and update firmware without physical access to the charger, useful when it is mounted somewhere awkward. Installation notes

Connect to a standard 230V mains socket via the supplied CEE 7/16 plug, on a circuit protected by an appropriate fuse or MCB. Wire the DC output directly to the battery terminals or via a suitably rated cable and fuse. Confirm battery chemistry and voltage before use and select the correct profile in VictronConnect. In vehicle or marine installations, ensure DC wiring meets the relevant standards for that application. This charger is not intended for connection to a battery bank within a grid-tied or off-grid inverter system without confirming compatibility with the system designer.
