The Victron Blue Smart IP65 Charger 12/7(1) is a single-output 12V battery charger rated at 7A, built for use in damp or dusty environments thanks to its IP65 enclosure. It fits a UK BS 1363 plug as standard and connects wirelessly through Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app for full monitoring and setup.

Applications

Suited to 12V leisure batteries in caravans, motorhomes and campervans, and to marine auxiliary or house banks where moisture is a factor. It also serves workshop battery maintenance for vehicle fleets, plant and agricultural machinery, and general off-grid or backup charging duty. The seven-stage algorithm includes a reconditioning phase, useful for recovering deeply discharged or sulphated lead-acid batteries, and a dedicated LiFePO4 profile is selectable in VictronConnect for lithium setups.

Installation notes

Plug the fitted BS 1363 plug into a standard UK 230V socket and connect the DC output leads to the battery, checking polarity first. For a fixed installation, mount the charger securely and leave space around it for ventilation.
