The Victron Blue Smart IP65 12/25 is a single-output 25A battery charger for 12V lead-acid and lithium battery banks. The IP65 enclosure is dust-tight and protected against water jets, so it can be mounted in vans, boats, workshops or outdoor cabinets. It plugs into a standard 230V socket via a CEE 7/17 mains plug and is controlled through the VictronConnect app over Bluetooth.

Product overview

The sealed, splash-resistant housing sets this apart from a standard workshop charger, allowing it to sit in engine bays, battery compartments or outdoor cabinets where moisture and dust are a factor. A dedicated DC connector replaces bare clamps, which suits permanent or semi-permanent wiring. At 25A the charger suits battery banks up to around 250Ah, covering most leisure, marine and light commercial banks. The recondition stage can recover deeply discharged or sulphated lead-acid batteries a simpler charger would reject, and a dedicated LiFePO4 profile is selectable in VictronConnect for lithium banks.
