The Smart designation refers to the built-in Bluetooth module, which lets installers adjust battery type, low voltage cutoffs, alarm thresholds and AES mode directly from the VictronConnect app. For system-level integration, the VE.Direct port connects to devices such as the Cerbo GX for DVCC control and remote monitoring via VRM.

It is a standalone DC to AC inverter, not a grid-tied or hybrid unit, and it does not include a battery charger.
