The Victron 12/1600 230V Smart is a pure sine wave inverter built around a 12V DC battery bank, giving 1600VA of continuous AC output at 230V and 50Hz. Installation notes

The inverter draws high DC currents at full load, so cable sizing, fusing and terminal torque all matter. Fitting should be done by someone experienced with DC power systems. It is not grid-tied, so G98 or G99 notification does not apply, though AC wiring still needs to meet standard regulations.
