Product Description

The Victron MPPT WireBox-S 100-20 is a protective cover that clips over the wiring terminals of the Victron SmartSolar and BlueSolar MPPT 100/20 charge controllers. It shields the connections from accidental contact and helps installers meet safety expectations on both trade and home solar jobs.

Key features

  • Fit, made specifically for the Victron MPPT 100/20 charge controller series.
  • Coverage, encloses all wiring terminals on the controller.
  • Weight, 0.15 kg, adding minimal bulk to the installed unit.
  • Origin, genuine Victron Energy accessory, built to match the controller housing.

Applications

Fit it in caravans, motorhomes and campervans where terminals would otherwise sit exposed. It also suits marine installations, off-grid cabins, garden buildings and any panel build where a tidy enclosed finish around the wiring is wanted.

Installation notes

Fit the WireBox-S only after the MPPT 100/20 controller has been wired and commissioned. The cover itself needs no special tools, but the underlying charge controller wiring should be carried out by a competent electrician or qualified solar installer, especially as part of a larger solar PV system.
