Off-Grid Solar Power Kit 1500VA 12V with GEL Batteries | Conversol

This 1500VA 12V off-grid solar power kit is built for cabins, outbuildings and small remote properties that need a self-contained power supply. At its core sits a Conversol 1200W/1500VA MPPT inverter-charger, paired with two 430W bifacial half cut monocrystalline panels and an optional 150Ah GEL battery bank. Voltacon assembles and tests the kit in the UK before it ships, complete with wiring instructions and UK-based technical support.

How it works

The MPPT charger draws power from the 430W panel string to charge the battery bank directly. When mains or generator supply is available, the inverter can also charge the batteries from AC input. The auxiliary generator contact starts a generator automatically once battery charge drops below a set threshold, keeping supply running when solar output is not enough on its own.

The 1500VA inverter carries continuous loads up to 1200W, enough for lighting, small appliances and basic electronics in a cabin or remote residential setting. Panels can be mounted in portrait, landscape, ground mount or roof mount arrangements; contact Voltacon before ordering if you need a different configuration.

Installation notes
