Product Description

The Socomec Sirco MV PV 40A is a 3-pole 600VDC load break switch built for DC disconnection on photovoltaic systems. It mounts on a DIN rail and gives a safe way to isolate DC circuits in off-grid and hybrid solar installations. Reference: 21PV3124.

Applications

Use it for DC string disconnection in off-grid and hybrid solar PV systems, and for maintenance isolation of DC circuits during servicing of a photovoltaic installation.

Installation and safety notes

DC solar circuits carry dangerous voltages, so this switch must be fitted by a qualified electrician. Never connect or disconnect it under load. DC isolation must comply with IET Wiring Regulations and the inverter manufacturer's requirements.
