Product Description

The Socomec Sirco MC PV is a 3-pole DC isolator switch rated at 40A and 1000VDC, built for photovoltaic installations. It makes and breaks under load, giving installers a reliable way to isolate DC circuits in solar PV combiner boxes and at inverter DC inputs. Its compact body fits neatly inside a combiner box enclosure without eating into space needed for other components.

Applications

This pv array dc isolator switch is used for DC string isolation within solar PV combiner boxes, and for on-load disconnection at the DC input of solar inverters.

Installation notes

DC solar circuits carry dangerous voltages, so this switch must be installed by a qualified electrician. Installation should comply with IET Wiring Regulations and with the inverter manufacturer's requirements for DC isolation.
