Sensor and photocell control

The PIR sensor uses infrared detection to trigger the light when movement is picked up nearby. Detection range and hold-on time are both adjustable via the knobs on the housing, so the fitting can be tuned to the area it covers. The built-in photocell keeps the light off during daylight hours and only allows it to activate once natural light drops, with sensitivity also adjustable on the housing.

Applications

Suited to driveways, entrances, yards and other areas where a mains powered LED floodlight with motion sensing is needed for security lighting. The rotating bracket allows the beam to be angled once fitted, useful where the mounting position is fixed but the coverage area needs fine-tuning.

Installation notes

The adjustable bracket and wide operating temperature range mean the fitting can be positioned to cover the required area without needing to be taken down and repositioned once installed, reducing the need for repeat access with lifting equipment.
