Product Description

This steel enclosure holds up to 8 Pylontech US5000 lithium batteries, giving 38.5kWh of storage when fully loaded. Rated IP65, it can be sited outdoors without an equipment room or extra weatherproofing, or installed indoors where floor space is at a premium.

Applications

Sized for residential and commercial solar storage where indoor space is limited, and for off-grid systems needing a substantial outdoor battery bank. It also suits commercial and light industrial energy storage sites, and any Pylontech US5000 installation that needs a weatherproof housing.

Installation and safety

Battery installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, with cable sizing, fusing, earthing and ventilation done in line with IET Wiring Regulations and Pylontech's installation guidelines. The enclosure needs to sit on a level, stable surface able to bear the full loaded weight of enclosure and batteries.
