Product Description

The Victron MPPT WireBox-L Tr is a protective enclosure that fits over the DC wiring terminals of SmartSolar and BlueSolar MPPT Tr charge controllers in the 150/60, 150/70, 250/60 and 250/70 range. It covers the terminal area once cables are connected, keeping live conductors out of reach during routine maintenance or inspection.

Applications

The WireBox-L Tr suits commercial, industrial and off-grid installations where the electrical cabinet may be accessed by people other than the original installer. It is also relevant where local regulations or a site risk assessment call for exposed DC terminals to be covered, and for retrofit projects where a WireBox was not fitted at initial commissioning.

Installation notes

Fit the WireBox-L Tr only after all DC cabling has been terminated and inspected. Isolate the charge controller from both the PV array and the battery before fitting or removing it. This accessory is designed for Tr-series MPPT controllers on the large chassis only, and is not compatible with MC4-variant or Ve.Can models.
