Solar Panel Optimiser 700W MC4 Compatible | Tigo TS4-A-O

The Tigo TS4-A-O is a module-level solar panel optimiser that adds shade optimisation, monitoring and rapid shutdown to panels up to 700W. It attaches to the panel frame or rack and connects in-line with the panel's DC cable, with a 1m cable and MC4 compatible connectors included.

How it works

The TS4-A-O clips onto the panel frame with a snap bracket and wires in-line using the included MC4 connectors, no proprietary inverter needed. Paired with a Tigo TAP and Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA), each unit reports individual panel performance to the Tigo platform, making it easier to spot underperforming panels or shading issues at module level rather than string level. The rapid shutdown function brings roof-level DC voltage down to safe levels when the inverter shuts down or when triggered manually from the app.

Applications

Suited to residential and commercial PV systems affected by partial shading, and to retrofit upgrades where module-level monitoring or rapid shutdown compliance is needed. It also fits new installations where per-panel performance visibility is a requirement.

Installation notes

Fitting should be carried out by a qualified solar installer or electrician. A Tigo TAP and Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) are needed to enable monitoring and cloud connectivity. All DC connections must be made correctly and waterproofed before the system is energised, following Tigo's installation and commissioning guide.
