Product Description

The Kraus & Naimer 63A 2-pole changeover switch lets you manually select between two single phase AC supply sources. It's commonly fitted in solar off-grid and wind systems where a load needs to switch between a renewable source and the grid. The switch has three positions: source 1, off, and source 2.

Applications

Use it for manual transfer between a solar inverter output and the grid supply, in solar or wind off-grid systems feeding a single phase load, or for generator and grid changeover in small commercial and residential installations.

Installation and safety notes

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with IET Wiring Regulations BS7671. The switch must be rated for the full load current it will carry, and it should not be operated under fault conditions.
