This 120cm T8 LED tube combines a 20W light source with a built-in microwave motion sensor and integrated photocell, so it switches and dims itself according to movement and ambient light. It is finished in natural white and offers 5 adjustable brightness levels for fine control over output.

The sensor uses the Doppler principle, emitting and reading a radar signal to detect movement nearby. When a moving object enters the detection range the tube lights fully; outside that range it follows the brightness and timing settings the installer has chosen.

Modes of operation

In 2-step dimming mode the tube switches on when movement is detected, dims to 20% output after 30 seconds, then stays on at that level until the next detection resets it. In 3-step dimming mode the tube switches on with movement, dims to 20% after 30 seconds, then switches off completely after 1 minute.

Applications

The manufacturer states it can save 70% more electricity than traditional LED tubes and 200% more than fluorescent tubes, making it suited to parking garages, warehouses, offices, corridors and factories where lighting does not need to run continuously.
