Product Description

The Voltacon HXG 12V 250Ah GEL battery is built for deep cycle use in off-grid and hybrid solar photovoltaic systems. It is maintenance-free, sealed, and rated for a 12-year design life. Unlike a car battery, this GEL cell is made to take daily deep discharge cycles without the sulphation damage that shortens the life of standard lead acid batteries.

Applications

Installation notes

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The inverter-charger needs its GEL charging parameters set correctly, and the maximum charge voltage for GEL cells should never be exceeded.
