Product Description

The Voltacon Energy Cube pairs the InfiniSolar WP 30kW hybrid inverter with the EC605 high-voltage lithium battery bank, giving a default configuration of 30kW output and 30kWh of storage. Up to four inverters can be paralleled for 120kW combined output, and additional EC605 modules can be stacked to expand storage to 120kWh. It carries G99 approval for UK grid connection and an IP65 weatherproof enclosure, making it suited to commercial, industrial and large residential installations that need dependable backup power.

Operating modes and load handling

The system supports grid-tie, off-grid, and grid-tie with backup modes, plus a built-in timer for scheduled operation. Dual AC output allows smart load management, and it supports 150% unbalanced load. When two or more batteries are ordered, the HVC05 parallel control module is included, carrying the copper busbars that distribute current evenly across the stacked battery bank.

Applications

Suited to commercial and industrial buildings needing large-scale storage, three phase properties with high peak demand, off-grid or hybrid systems in areas of unreliable grid supply, and large residential or agricultural energy independence projects.

Installation and safety notes

This is a high-voltage lithium system and must be designed, installed and commissioned by a qualified electrical engineer experienced with large-scale battery storage. G99 notification and DNO approval are required for UK grid connection. Do not attempt installation without the correct engineering qualifications and grid approvals.
