Product overview

Because the design is non-isolated, input and output share a common ground reference. That keeps the unit efficient and compact, but it is not the right choice where galvanic isolation between circuits is required; Victron's isolated Orion-Tr range covers that case instead. The IP20 enclosure protects against solid objects larger than 12.5mm only, with no protection against moisture, so it needs a dry switchboard, control cabinet or ventilated battery compartment.
