The Cronos LED bulb is built to replace corn-type LEDs and HID lamps inside enclosed luminaires such as outdoor lanterns, street posts and wall lights. It comes in 20W, 30W and 40W versions on an E27 screw base, with light spread across a 280° or 340° beam angle depending on the fitting.

Applications

Cronos bulbs are made for enclosed luminaires that need a CFL or high-pressure bulb replaced without changing the fitting itself: park lighting, pathway lanterns, street lights and wall-mounted outdoor lamps. The compact geometry means the LED chips fit inside fixtures where a standard corn lamp would be too large or run too hot.

• 20W LED replaces a 48W CFL
• 30W LED replaces a 65W CFL
• 40W LED replaces a 100W CFL or 70W HID lamp

Because the bulb keeps the E27 base, older or vintage light fittings can stay in place while cutting energy use and improving light output.
